Allergy Station aims to provide a range of practical resources, developed to aid in the everyday management of allergies and anaphylaxis.
The range includes clearly labelled boxes, bags, magnets, key rings and stickers all bearing the Allergy Station logo. These are intended to carry epipens, allergy medication and the vital information required to manage allergies and anaphylaxis. Drink bottles and cooler bags are also available for use in high risk situations such as excursions and school camps.
Developed by former RN, who is a real life mother of a real life teenage daughter, who has anaphylaxis to peanut, egg, fish and sesame seeds.
Based on everyday needs and concerns of people living with allergies and those who care for them at home, kinder, creche or school.
The Allergy Station logo intends to minimize confusion in an emergency and also acts as an obvious signpost for storage and vital communication, which is the cornerstone of allergy management.
Put together recognizing ASCIA template policy and with the introduction of minimum standards for anaphylaxis management in Victoria in mind. |
